Salvadori Charrette 1999: Connect 2100

City College of New York - New York, NY, USA
Jun 7, 1999

From the final report:

"On June 7th, ICIS co-sponsored and participated in Connect 2100, an all-day design charrette developed and hosted by the Salvadori Center. ICIS graduate research assistants Nate Gilbertson, Stephen James and Meloney McGuire, together with a group of architecture and engineering professionals, served as mentors-for-a-day to 100 students from middle schools around New York City. The mentors and students formed 10 separate groups to conceptualize and create models of their visions of the "capital of the Earth" as it might look in the year 2100."
