Arnim Meyburg

Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Cornell University

Arnim H. Meyburg, is a Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University (1978-present), and is the former Director of the School (1988-1998). He directs the NYSDOT sponsored Transportation Infrastructure Research Consortium, an inter-institutional New York State group for interdisciplinary transportation research. He is the author of numerous publications in the transportation field focusing on behavioral aspects of travel demand, transportation modeling, and intermodal activities in transportation. Selected professional activities include Transportation Research Board (TRB), Transportation Systems Planning Group, Committee on Traveler Behavior and Values, Committee on Data Collection and Survey Methodology, Committee on Urban Goods Movement, Society of Sigma Xi, Transportation Research Forum (TRF), University Liaison American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Civil Engineering Department Heads Council (1990-91), Cornell Representative on National Council of University Transportation Research Centers, International Association for Travel Behavior, International Working Group, "Information Technology - Transportation Interactions."
