Francis X. McArdle has served as Managing Director of the General Contractors Association of New York, Inc. since 1983. Prior to his current position, Mr. Mc Ardle served as Director of Administration for the Olympia York Battery Park Company; Commissioner for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection; Inspector General for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation; Assistant to the Mayor, New York City Office of the Mayor; and Director of Program Budget for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.Education: Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from St. Michael's College, University of Toronto; Completed course work for the doctorate in political science from Syracuse University.
