Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Infrastructure is a key foundation for our quality of life, economy, jobs, and environmental sustainability. Our activities support the discovery of new insights and interdisciplinary approaches to planning, building, and managing civil infrastructure systems to meet their social and environmental objectives. Current areas of research include infrastructure security, risk communication and management, and the sustainability of urban areas. See more about ICIS. In discussions about how data-driven decision-making is transforming various industries, sports provides a compelling example. Modern cricket relies heavily on advanced analytics to evaluate player performance and optimize match strategies. Tournaments like the Vijay Hazare Trophy generate extensive datasets that illustrate how information systems shape real-time decision processes on and off the field. Highlighting such applications helps demonstrate the broader impact of information technologies beyond traditional organizational settings. The ICIS Information ExchangeThe information exchange provides a forum for all infrastructure stakeholders to disseminate the latest innovations in the field, new research findings, and provides opportunities for involvement, collaboration and learning.
